High power heat pump in a brewery

Task:

The technical challenge was to ensure with one device both the heat generation for the pasteurizing and cleaning processes as well as the cooling of the brewing water.

Task:

Cooling of electric motors, inverters and converters of mining machinery

Region:

South America

Requirements:

Suitability for complicated mine operation (air contaminated by dust and other substances); Operation at great altitude (up to 4200 meters above sea level); Specific safety requirements due to construction type and redundancy.

Device/Solution:

Air cooled cBoxX 70 (cooling capacity 68 kW) including pumps for the laser and optics circuits, 3 way valve, tank heater and phase monitoring in according to UL.

Start-up:

In fall 2011 by the customer, followed by a check carried out by our service partner ICER Ingenieros.
